The Good Road
My new cd is all about stories, the stories of Indigenous people all across the land. To our people, land is very important, so important we are even defined by it. This place is where my people have always been, my mom grew up here and it is where I spent a lot of my childhood. It is a very special and beautiful place where my family still lives. This river, the Nadleh River, appears in a few of my songs and I always speak about this place whenever I get to talk in various churches or conferences. Read more about the new CD here.

The CD came out of Street Church. Two simple words which are full of meaning to me; characters, stories, places and events that have forever changed me. I received much healing while trying to be a healer in that place ... a wounded healer as Nouwen might say. We pastored Street Church on the Downtown Eastside of Vancouver, BC for many years. DE is known as the poorest neighbourhood in all of Canada. We went there with our babies, our youngest was not even a year old at the time.
