The new CD is all about our people. It has worship songs like my first Cd and has story songs about my people the Carrier Nation in British Columbia, Canada.

Every Indigenous person will relate to these songs.

One of the songs I wrote is called Cheslatta and is about my Grampa's original village. The chorus is a cry, “Cheslatta” .

Another song is called “The Residential School Song” and is based on a story of the first mother and son who ever separated by the Indian Boarding School. The boy was taken to the Indian Boarding School and the mother left home alone. Some words from the song, “My son, where did you go when they took you away? I don't recognize you anymore...”

Both of these songs were very hard to write, it took me a couple years and it was a healing process.

The worship song is a cry to Yeshua. Without Jesus we have nothing. It is based on John 14:6, “I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life, no one comes to the Father except through me.”

Another worship song is “Rise Up New Warriors” this is written by my man Randy. He wrote it back in the day ... the 80's!! It's a great song and you will love to dance fancy shawl or fancy men's to this one.

Two of the songs on this CD kinda fun “in house” songs. They will be a cool surprise for everyone to enjoy.
